Works Wonders is an occupational therapy and rehabilitation service based in Derby. We aim to maximise the independence of adults within our local community who are struggling to engage in meaningful day-to-day tasks due to an injury or condition.
Supporting people to thrive at home, in the community, and in the workplace.
Unlike the interventions that you might have tried in the past, occupational therapy will focus on:
Addressing the multiple and overlapping factors that can influence your overall function, health and wellbeing.
Improving your ability to do the things that you want to be able to do.
Listening to what is important to you, and working out which interventions will be practical and realistic.

Hosted by our Occupational Therapist, Jasmine Yule, and Rehab Practitioner, Hayley Donaghy. There will be a short talk exploring the barriers to recovery and rehab, as well as a taster chair-based exercise session- appropriate for all abilities.

Community Classes and Meet-ups
We believe that community groups and classes are a perfect way to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation. Our vision is to provide accessible exercise for those who have struggled with mainstream health and fitness advice in the past
Led by a Rehab Practitioner with over 20-years of experience in the NHS, it is an opportunity to gain support, maintain motivation, and try out new things in a safe environment.
We would love for you to join our coffee morning in Risley, where we will lead a taster session of chair-based exercises. New sessions will be posted soon!
