Works Wonders is an occupational therapy and rehabilitation service based in Derby. We aim to maximise the independence of adults within our local community who are struggling to engage in meaningful day-to-day tasks due to an injury or condition.

Helping you to return to work after sickness absence or identify adjustments to your current work.
Rehabilitation, which specifically aims to improve your day-to-day functioning and independence
Prioritising the essential ingredients for recovery, including poor sleep, chronic stress, fatigue, negative thought patterns, and dealing with setbacks
Dealing with symptoms of pain and fatigue which are fluctuating and difficult to control

Harrisons Cottage, Risley. (Just behind the All Saints Church DE72 3SR, with plenty of free roadside parking)
What does it involve?
Whole body exercises which focus on strength and flexibility, all from the safety of a chair. Ideal for those who have struggled to engage in mainstream exercise, have health conditions or injuries, or are looking for a very low intensity fitness option.

We believe that community groups and classes are a perfect way to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation. Our vision is to provide accessible exercise for those who have struggled with mainstream health and fitness advice in the past
Led by a Rehab Practitioner with over 20-years of experience in the NHS, it is an opportunity to gain support, maintain motivation, and try out new things in a safe environment.
